DAS Legal Expenses Insurance

Recruitment and retention has started to become a major issue for many businesses. These days, given a choice, people want to work in organisations that provide a caring and supportive environment.

It was with this in mind that DAS Legal Expenses Insurance decided to adopt a Fairtrade policy in their Bristol office.

They started off cautiously and trialled it in just one vending machine. Kirsti Norris, their Environmental Controller, takes up the story: “It proved so popular that people were coming down from the other floors to get their drinks, so we had to roll it out to the rest of the building due to the demand.

"Now we are extending it to our Bedwas office in South Wales and are talking to our head office about doing it throughout the company.”
