Fairtrade Fortnight Workplace Challenge

Organise a fun event in your workplace and WIN a FREE feature on our website, plus £50 worth of Traidcraft products for your workplace!

With Fairtrade Fortnight just around the corner, we're challenging you to make Fairtrade the talk of your workplace. As a reward to the most effective activity, we're offering a first prize of a free feature on our website plus £50 worth of Traidcraft products. The winner and two runners up will all be presented with framed certificates celebrating their achievement.

You can access resources from:
  • www.fairtradeatwork.org.uk (business leaflets, a sudoku game, why Fairtrade at work?)
  • www.fairtrade.org.uk (quiz, recipes, posters and other resources)
  • Bristol Fairtrade Network - leaflets with Bristol Fairtrade Fortnight events and copies of Bristol Fairtrade Directory 2008

Our challenge to you is: make a huge noise about Fairtrade at your workplace during Fairtrade Fortnight 2007!

How to enter:
  • Sign up now below so we know you are entering.
  • Create a Fairtrade activity at your workplace during Fairtrade Fortnight 2007. How about a Fairtrade lunch or a fairtrade quiz challenge?
  • When your activity is done, send photos, a brief description of what you did and what you were most pleased about. Send your entry to: Jenny Foster, Fairtrade Fortnight at Work Challenge, The CREATE Centre, Smeaton Rd, Bristol BS1 6XN. You can also email entries to: jenny@bristolfairtradenetwork.org.uk The deadline is Friday 16 March.
  • Tell us about any events you organise and we'll add them to the online events, even if they are not public (please make it clear if not).
How it will be judged:
  • Judging will be by a panel of Bristol Fairtrade Network members.
  • The winner will be the activity judged to be both the most imaginative and the most effective in communicating the benefits of Fairtrade products to staff in the workplace. You will also be awarded extra points if you manage to introduce Fairtrade products or to increase your use of them as a result of your Fairtrade Fortnight activity!
  • Winners will be contacted and invited to a presentation ceremony.
